Говориться, що любов і шанування Діви Марії – це душа східного благочестя, що Божа Мати знаходиться на вершині цінностей українського народу. Це відбражається у мистецтві, музиці, архітектурі, вишивці. Вшановування Матері Божї починається з часів Володимира, розвинене Ярославом Мудрим. У жовтні 1985 року, українські єпископи на Синоді в Римі відновили акт посвячення всіх людей під опіку Богородиці.	uk

dc.description.abstracten	The main idea of the article is the cult of the Mother of God in Ukraine. The author argues that the love and reverence of the Virgin Mary is the soul of Eastern piety. The Mother of God is at the top of the values of the Ukrainian people. It is reflected in art, music, architecture, embroidery. The reverence of the Mother of God begins with the time of Volodymyr, developed by Yaroslav the Wise. In October 1985, Ukrainian bishops at the Synod in Rome restored the act of consecration of all people under the care of the Virgin.	uk
