dc.description.abstract	Осмислення постаті і вчення відомого візантійського богослова, ісихаста й церковного діяча XIV ст. Григорія Палами здійснено через призму змін у ставленні до почитання св. Григорія після Замойського синоду та позитивних зрушень в оцінці його особи після ІІ Ватиканського собору. Висвітлено роль патріярха Йосифа Сліпого у справі літургійно-богословського відкриття імени та спадщини св. Григорія Палами для західних і східних католиків. Вперше наведено тексти листів кардинала Франя Шепера і патріярха Йосифа у справі повернення текстів служби св. Григорія Палами в римське видання грецького Антологіона. Наголошено на необхідності й актуальності глибших студій богословської спадщини св. Григорія Палами та східнохристиянського феномену ісихазму в УГКЦ.	uk

dc.description.abstracten	The article examines the figure and the teachings of the famous Byzantine theologist, Hesychast and church leader of the forteenth century St Gregory Palamos. An analysis has been made taking into account changes in the practice of veneration that took place after the Synod of Zamosc in 1720 as well as the reappraisal of his life and deeds at Vatican II. The role of Archbishop Cardinal Josyf Slipyi in the liturgical and theological reappraisal of Gregory Palamos’ legacy is discussed in depth. For the first time, the correspondence of Cardinal Franjo Seper, the Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, and Cardinal Slipyi are cited. The correspondence relates to the restoration of St Gregory’s texts for liturgical purposes in the Roman publication of the Greek Anthologion. The author points to the need for further study of the theological legacy of St Gregory Palamos and the entire phenomenon of Eastern Chrystian Hesychasm in the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.	uk
