dc.description.abstract	Поняття духовного зростання в ученні Євагрія Понтійського поділяється на дві послідовні сходинки – діяльне життя і пізнання, та пов’язане зі Святим Писанням. У Святому Письмі Євагрій бачить текст, на якому можна ґрунтувати християнський порядок духовного зростання і через який можна висловити філософські поняття біблійною мовою. Досліджено особливості екзегетичного методу Євагрія та з’ясовано, що він застосовує власне розуміння ступенів духовного зростання до герменевтики. Поглиблено проаналізовано вибрані схолії, що стосуються класичних тем християнської аскетики.	uk

dc.description.abstracten	This article examines the notion of spiritual progress in the teachings of Evagrius Pontius, consisting of two successive stages – human activity and cognition – and demonstrates the relationship between his teachings and Holy Scripture. Evagrius Pontius views the text of the Holy Scripture itself as the basis for the Christian system of spiritual progress, through which philosophical concepts can be expressed in biblical terms. Having studied the exegetic methods of Evagrius Pontius, the author concludes that Evagrius had his own view as to how stages of spiritual progress lead to hermeneutics. Selected Scholia on Christian asceticism have also been thoroughly studied. A detailed analysis of the Scholia ad Proverbia indicates that the notion of spiritual progress informs the entire teachings of Evagrius.	uk
